
A scrumptious one bowl dish from the Chinese cuisine which is spicy yet mouth-watering that no one can resist. Beef chili dry is a combination of crispy beef stir-fried with minimal yet spicy gravy. It can be served with fried rice or garlic rice.
Ingredients:
- MARINATION
- Beef Boneless, Strips1 KG
- Mixed Herbs1 Tablespoon
- Soya Sauce1 Tablespoon
- Ground White Pepper1 Tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper1 Tablespoon
- Chicken Powder1 Tablespoon
- Garlic Paste1 Tablespoon
- Ginger Paste1 Tablespoon
- SaltTo Taste
- Egg, Beaten1
- Corn Flour3 – 4 Tablespoons
- All-Purpose Flour3 – 4 Tablespoons
- SAUCE
- Oil3 – 4 Tablespoons
- Ginger Garlic Paste1 Tablespoon Each
- Ground Black Pepper1 Tablespoon
- SaltTo Taste
- Chicken Powder1 Tablespoon
- Soya Sauce1 Tablespoon
- Oyster Sauce1 Tablespoon
- Thai Chili Pastes1 Tablespoon
- WaterAs Per Needed
- Onion, Diced1
- Thai Chili, Chopped2 – 3
- Spring Onion, Chopped2
- GARLIC RICE
- Oil2 Tablespoons
- Garlic, Chopped1 Tablespoon
- Rice, Boiled½ KG
- Soya Sauce1 Tablespoon
- Black Pepper1 Teaspoon
- Chicken Powder1 Tablespoon
PREPARATION
- Cut boneless beef into equal strips.
- Mix beef strips with mixed herbs, soya sauce, white pepper, black pepper, chicken powder, garlic ginger paste, salt to taste, egg, corn flour, and all-purpose flour in a bowl until well coated and marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a wok and fry the marinated beef until cooked. Place on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
- In the same wok heat oil and saute ginger garlic paste.
- Add ground black pepper, salt, chicken powder, and soya sauce. Saute.
- Now add oyster sauce and Thai chilli paste. Mix, add water, stir, and bring it to a boil.
- Add the cooked beef and mix well.
- Add diced onions, Thai chilies, and spring onions. Mix. Cover the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
- For the garlic rice: heat oil in a wok and saute chopped garlic.
- Now add cooked rice and mix.
- Add soya sauce, black pepper, and chicken powder. Mix well.
